Eleni A. (“Eleana”) Drakatos
In 2014, I joined my spouse’s law practice, which became Yacobozzi | Drakatos, LLC. I represent people that have been injured due to someone else’s fault. My clients are people and families hurt in car accidents, motorcycle collisions, slip-and-falls, and due to medical negligence.
I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but spent my entire childhood in Greece. I cam to Columbus, Ohio in 1996, to attend Ohio Wesleyan University, where I graduated in 2000 with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. My science background helps me understand the medicine when reviewing, negotiating, and trying injury cases.
My commitment to the practice of law extends beyond my work at the office. I enjoy working with legal organizations that help attorneys do better for their clients. In 2018, I was elected to serve as the President of the Ohio State Bar Association for the term of 2019-2020. I served as president of the Women Lawyers of Franklin County, and have served on the Boards of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Liability Insurance Company, the Ohio State Bar Foundation, the Ohio Association for Justice, and the Central Ohio Association for Justice.
Dennis and I enjoy spending time with our daughter. We enjoy biking on the beautiful trails throughout Ohio, exploring the Ohio food scene, and visiting with family and friends.

I graduated cum laude in 2003 from Capital University Law School where I was recognized for excellence in trial advocacy.
I was born and raised in Columbus, where I lived my entire life. Columbus is a great community with endless possibilities, which is why I continue to call it home.
I am a member of the Ohio State and Arizona Bar Associations. I am admitted to practice law in both Ohio (2003) and Arizona (2016), in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio (2004) and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals (2005).
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing the guitar, and spending time with my family.

I am delighted to be on the team as a paralegal at Yacobozzi Drakatos. I graduated from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio with a degree in German Language and Literature and International Studies, and I hold a Master of Arts in Arab Studies from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
I began my professional career working for the city government in New York City, and later in Washington, DC at a political advocacy organization. I then took on the challenge of being a stay-at-home parent for 10 years, moving back to Ohio, in the meantime.
Wanting to reenter the workforce, I enrolled in the Post-Baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate Program at Capital University in Columbus and joined Yacobozzi Drakatos in January 2021. I am grateful to work with this group of legal professionals, as they are committed to attaining justice for their clients while being dedicated to ensuring an instructive and supportive working environment for their staff. I work to extend that sentiment to our clients and guide them through the legal process, as Eleana and Dennis work to obtain the remedies our clients deserve.
My family and I live in the Columbus metropolitan area and when we are not traveling overseas, we are avid homebodies and enjoy working on projects in our yard, which is a Certified Wildlife Habitat.
